Mako Reactor #5 Walkthrough

Now board the train again. Talk to Tifa, she'll talk to you about the screen you saw with Jessie. Soon you'll pass the checking zone and the Alarm will go off. A timer will appear. First talk to the homeless man in the back of the screen to get a Phoenix Down. Then proceed to the second car. There, talk to the man closest to the front of the screen and pick the top option to get a Hi-Potion. In the third car, a man will walk past you, snicker, and steal from you; follow him and talk to him again to get back the Gil.

Keep going through each train car until the group jumps off one of the cars into an underground railroad. Head North until you reach some sensor beams, which you cannot pass through. There is a small opening to the left of it, go up to it, there will be a short conversation, then choose to go down the opening. Pick up the Ether in the adjoining passage, climb down another ladder. When you enter a wide area look for Wedge who is standing by a ladder, climb that ladder.

You'll reach a room which Jessie will be in. Take the Potion in the room and go down the ladder to the left. In the next area you will find Biggs, a Tent and a save point. Go up the ladder here to reach the No. 5 Reactor. The room should look the similar to the other Reactor. Slide down the pipe and then work your way back into the reactor. After Cloud sets the bomb, go back into the large room and climb up the stairs and into the elevator. It'll take you to a new floor. Get the Ether in the treasure chest outside and then head to the left where there are three buttons.

You'll need to hit your button as the same time Barret and Tifa hit theirs. This can get quite frustrating, but try pressing action just before they raise their arms and you should get it. Afterwards, go through the opened gate (there's a Save Point here), and head north. You will be in a T shaped room where you will be ambushed by guards and then you will meet President Shinra.
