| A fitting first boss. Just Have Terra use TekMissile and the other two using whatever you feel like, fire attacks work well. Don't shoot the shell! If you shoot it, it will use a fairly strong attack on all of your party. |

| You have to kill the Tipoohs first in order to get to Vargas. Just keep your health up, let Locke fight and let Edgar use the AutoCrossbow. Sabin will go one on one within the battle. Just survive with him and wait for him to learn Pummel. Use it and you win. This fight gave me some trouble until I figured out that if Sabin dies you can't win. |

| Have someone equipped with the Ramuh Esper and have them use it. Then have Locke attack, Edgar use Chainsaw or Drill, Sabin AuraBolt, Cyan use SwdTech 1, and Gau ????. One attack from Ramuh and one Chainsaw attack from Edgar should be enough to finish him. Easy battle |
