| Tactics A2 Arriving in June |

Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift will release in North America on June 24, 2008 for the Nintendo DS. Tactics A2 takes place in FFXII's Ivalice with a whole list of new features, characters, and engrossing battle system.

| Europe Getting Collector's Edition of Crisis Core |

Square Enix has announced that Europe will get a collectors edition of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. This special edition will ship with a 48 page art book entitled "The Art of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7".
The collectors edition of the game will only be available to those who pre-order the game. The release date has yet to be confirmed but according to Play.com the title will hit shelves across Europe on the 27th of June.

| More FFXI Version Update Details |

Square Enix has revealed some more details about the upcoming version update of their PC/PS2/Xbox360 MMORPG Final Fantasy XI. The exact date of the update is still unknown but it will happen sometime this month.
/dance
Due to popular demand, the following new emote commands will be added. Now you can dance just like a real dancer, regardless of job, location, or situation!
/dance1 /dance2 /dance3 /dance4
This emote will probably be spammed in the streets of Jeuno during the first few weeks :p
Pankration
It will be possible to summon the following monster families captured with fiendtrappers: Gear, Rampart, Chariot and Soulflayer.
Adventurer Recruitment Program
New items, "Sol Cap" and "Lunar Cap," will be offered as special gift items in the Adventurer Recruitment Program.
Details regarding the terms and conditions to obtain special gift items can be found here.
New Items
The "Emperor Band" will be added to the list of enchanted items that offer a bonus to experience points or limit points. Along with existing items, "Empress Band" and "Chariot Band," the "Emperor Band" can be obtained by trading your individual conquest points. However, only one of the above three can be in your possession at any given time.

Square has opened the full version of the North American Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. In addition to that they have also added the second episode of their series of teaser trailers.

| Final Fantasy I & II Released in Europe! |

The Final Fantasy I & II Anniversary editions have finally been released in Europe. As you probably guessed the games are remakes of Final Fantasy (1987) and Final Fantasy II (1988)
Both games have been upgraded visually and ported to the Sony PSP and they include the CG movies from Final Fantasy Origins, the bonus quest and dungeons from Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls.

Following the hubbub surrounding Final Fantasy XIII's release date (no set release date, don't ya kow) Square is committing to a release for Star Ocean: Second Evolution, the PSP remake of the PS1 original Star Ocean 2. This bad boy will release in Japan on April 2. Following the recent trend of Pre-Order Specials, anyone who preorders the Second Evolution will get a nifty little bonus DVD that includes a trailer for Star Ocean IV...
